My very first posting to my blog.
Alright I’m just giving this a try. I haven’t done any blogging so lets see how this works. Not a very exciting first posting, rather dry really. I promise this will get more exciting. Well, not alot more exciting but maybe I can make some things up that will sound like I’m doing exciting things or coming up with some great amazing ideas (which I swear I’m working on). (Just to practice making a link..) Mercantile Greenhouse a link to my parent’s greenhouse website. Which by the way I kept alive with the HUGE amount of knowlege I have of gardening.

I visited the greenhouse and saw the moon flowers. Have you ever seen the picture book The Trellis and the Seed by Jan Karon? I’d never heard of a moon flower before I read it. How silly is this? I could just look over the top of the computer and say this to you in person!

I really don’t have any gardening skills and it’s the big joke with my parents because my Dad teaches soil science and my Mom has a greenhouse business. I have a fig tree– that’s it. So I can’t answer any gardening questions.
